Senior Research Analyst and Coordinator

We seek a person with strong research, management, and writing skills to work on our World Cities Project -- a comparative analysis of health, quality of life, health and social services for older persons and children in New York, London, Paris and Tokyo. WCP is a joint project of New York University and the International Longevity Center, and is based in New York. This work includes collection of a database, supervision of doctoral and masters-level research assistants, qualitative and quantitative analysis of comparative data, and drafting of research notes and scholarly publications. Candidates should have at least 3 years of research experience and a Ph.D in one of the social sciences or public policy, public health or urban planning.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Scholars in Health Policy Research Program

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Scholars in Health Policy Research Program provides fellowships to recent graduates of Ph.D. programs in economics, political science, and sociology who are interested in the field of health policy research. Up to 12 Scholars are selected annually to participate in the Program at one of three nationally prominent institutions: The University of California at Berkeley; The University of Michigan; and Yale University. The deadline for receipt of applications is October 27, 2000.
